Google Unveils YouTube Red Originals
As more and more websites and TV channels unveil premium, pay-to-play streaming services, it was only a matter of time before YouTube, the king of internet video, got in on the game. With the launch of YouTube, the biggest video site on the web has entered the world of paid content with a service that promises ad-free viewing, and it gambles big on the viability of some of the site’s biggest personalities.
How It Works
For $9.99 per month (with a one month free trial), YouTube Red lets users watch YouTube videos completely ad free, and to watch videos offline on a phone or tablet. It also lets users stream video in the background, and includes a free subscription to Google Music and its impressive storage and streaming capabilities.

Fuller House Update: Where Are They Now?
The late 80s/early 90s sitcom Full House is remembered fondly by millions of fans across the world, so it was really only a matter of time before a reunion of some sort took place. Still, many people were caught by surprise when Netflix announced that it had revived the series as Fuller House, a sequel/reboot featuring the original (but now much older) cast of characters. Would the show be able to retain its old magic, or had time passed it by? How many of the old cast members would return to play their old roles?
Now that the new series has made its Netflix debut, Full House fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Not only has the show stuck to the same sunny, old-fashioned type of family-friendly comedy that was the show’s hallmark, the cast was able to slip back into their old roles like they only stopped yesterday, not more than two decades ago.
Even Bob Saget, whose post-Full House career has mostly been noticeable for his decidedly un-family-friendly standup persona, doesn’t seem to have had any problem leaving his raunchier material at the door in order to play friendly, wholesome Danny Tanner. The only major cast members who don’t make an appearance are Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle; both sisters declined to appear, though the character does appear in flashbacks.
