The RRGXBC will work right out of the package for compatible Sanyo TV models listed (but not limited to) without any programming. The RRGXBC is a pre-programmed Sanyo TV remote and cannot be programmed to any other devices. The remote includes popular features like SLEEP, INPUT, and all other buttons for normal operations. For detailed information on how to use this product with your TV, please refer to your TV's operating manual.

Five stars definitely. One question: Recently one of our local channels has changed their signal so it can't be received as it has been for years. Didn't have to program or anything. Just put 2 AA batteries in and point at TV. Tickled with end results.

Up til now, this is my third remote for this TV. So far it is working fine. The main problem that I have had, is the ON/OFF BUTTON and the PIC SIZE BUTTON, which I use the most, as I use the PIC BUTTON when watching DVDS a lot. I use my DVR to turn on the TV, so that is solved. So hopefully it is settled. I'll know within a year if this remote works better. FRANCIS ONION

Mechanically it works great... just seems more logical to have ch button on the right, vol on the left, and on this remote it's the opposite Seems backwards to me I'm right-handed
I truly had my doubts, price too cheap, not same remote as original OLD tv. Put batteries in, still thinking it would not work AND IT DOES AND IS GREAT AND EASY TO USE,,,, KUDOS PLUS I actually called and they were so nice and helpful but i just had doubts being so old but they know their businessi and were so helpful. 5+ stars!!

We were replacing a replacement remote we had previously purchased. Although purchased from the same company and the exact same one, this remote requires more pressure to use. We have to use quite a bit of pressure to get the buttons to work, unlike the first one which was more sensitive. Over all just happy I don't have to get up and turn on/off or change channels manually and have full access of all the TV capabilities in my hand.

This is an excellent replacement for my Sanyo TV's malfunctioning original remote. In fact, after receiving this remote, I ordered another one in case I misplaced this one. This remote had a very affordable price. Because of the low price I was doubtful at first that it would work properly or be well-built. However, when I put the batteries in (2xAA) it worked immediately and flawlessly the first time I tried it on my older Sanyo TV. The buttons are a little firmer to push than what I am used to, but they work without a problem. The infrared beam is focused on a smaller area than the remote that came with my TV, so I have to be sure to point the remote more directly at the TV, but that is not too inconvenient. I've been using the remote for about 2 weeks now, and it has worked perfectly. I'm glad I found this replacment at this price. This store seems to be a great resource for remotes and other electronic parts that might be hard to find.
Mute button should be larger and more conveniently located, as it was the first to fail on the original remote.

While it was slightly different in appearance, the functions work flawlessly. It required about 2 minutes of concentration to learn the different locations of some functions, then it was smooth sailing all the way. No more having to press a button ten times to try to get a response,... the new remote works perfect, every time. I've been very happy with the remote, but I had to stick the label from the old Anderic remote on this newer one because there was no label. Please put labels on the new remotes so it will be easy to remember where to order again.

I bought a new remote for a 20-year old Onkyo receiver at a reasonable price from Replacement Remotes, which arrived fast and was in new condition as described, functioning perfectly. Very satisfied.

If anyone needs a replacement for a lost one this site is a good place to find one. Just be aware all features may not work just as the one I bought forces you to run through the channels with the channel button and not the numbers.
