The Roku RC-EL1 remote control is designed for select Roku Streaming Stick models and supports both RF and IR operation for reliable navigation and voice command functionality. It requires no programming when paired with compatible Roku Streaming Stick devices and includes dedicated shortcut keys for popular streaming apps. This remote is intended only for Roku Streaming Stick and compatible RF/IR Roku players and will not operate Roku TVs or IR-only Roku Express units.

Pairing instructions:

- Unplug and reboot the Roku streaming stick, then wait for it to boot up to the home screen.

- Install 2 AAA batteries in the remote.

- The green light will start flashing inside the battery cover area of the remote.

Tip - this indicates it is in pairing mode.

- Hold the remote near the Roku unit, and within a minute, the Roku screen will display a remote connecting screen.

- When finished, the screen should say "remote paired success."
