The Anderic remote works just like (just as good) the old Samsung remote that came with my TV. The only change is on the Samsung one that came with the TV, the button lights come on when you press any button or the light button. The light on the replacement remote only comes on when you press the light button on the remote. Both remotes light lights up for about 30 seconds and then goes off. Other then that I feel they are the same. Can't tell any difference between them in weight, size and housing. I called for support before ordering 2 new ones and they were very helpful. He stated that these were good, so I took a chance. I have ordered from this company in the past and will order from them again if I need another remote for anything.
