Remote fan receiver works as described as replacement for original Hampton Bay Southwind 52 inch ceiling fan. The only difference is that the light dimming feature on the remote now only functions as an off/on switch (no dimming) which was expected.

worked fine and fit into the fan just fine. Shipping was prompt and not a problem. My fan doesn't have a pull chain switch, so the remote was the only way to control. I'd ordered a "universal" from another source, only to find that it wasn't as universal as they said. This one duplicated the orginal.

I like the size and aesthetics of the remote (FAN35T,sold separately)that is associated with this receiver unit (UC7067RC). I already have several in use so when I added a fan to the lanai I wanted a matching system. These were originally sold as a package at Lowe's but apparently they no longer market the product.
