This device is an exact replacement for the broken one in my rental property. All functions work without need to program them in or an exotic button pushing ballet to get something to work which was native to the remote sold with the purchase, years ago. Once receiving the renote control adding the batteries, that was the end of work. The remote replacement is identical to the original remote. I ordered two the last time as I found one of my dogs love the remote as well as I do. Replacement is fast, and reasonably priced

it works great and there was no set up or anything. the buttons are a little sticky and require you to really push them down to get it to work which is why I didn't give it 5 stars I am happy with the product

I had tried everything to get my bluray to work and this replacement remote worked like a charm.

I am confined to a wheelchair so going to the unit to make any changes is a challenge. When the original remote quit working I tried to get an original from Sony, but even though I ordered one it never arrived. It also cost a good bit more. All this time I am doing without my unit.
