Fantastic Product, at an affordable price!!! Thank You, Dan's Electronics & you're company Anderic. If it wasn't for you, many folks' older, no longer supported products would be junk. Such as my two quality Hunter fans made back in the day. When my Hunter Grand Isle quit working, I discovered it had voltage to the receiver but not coming out. So I looked up Hunter part no. 85112-02 only to find that all old inventory has been exhausted. I also have a Hunter Rosemount with the same internals. So luckily, I discovered Dan's with their Anderic line, which makes new replacements. The receiver & corresponding remote work great. It was plug & play, except the wires going to the lights. Unless you have the same connectors on your light wires, most will have to cut the connectors off & just wire nut the ends together. Other than that, it works even better than the original, due to it remembering the settings when powered off at the switch, not defaulting to light on, fan off, or fan clockwise when signaled, every time the wall switch is turned off/on. Now, it remembers my last settings & that's what comes on when turning the switch back on. No more lights on when the power goes out & comes back on too! Also doesn't have interference with LED bulbs, which I had to run at least one filament bulb w/LEDs before to stop the flicker. Nice to have those bugs worked out. A couple years back I purchased a few of the Hunter 85095-01 remotes for my fans before that inventory ran out. Looks like I'll get the chance to sell a couple on ebay now. Don't need them with this new receiver. I feel better knowing that if anything happens to my Rosemount next, replacements are there. If any of the new parts break, receiver or remote, Anderic is still producing them affordably. So no worries going forward. Very happy with Dan's Electronics & Anderic line.

I have a Hunter ceiling fan Model 28007-420 which the remote control failed to work so a receiver/remote replacement was the only option or replace entire fan. The Anderic FAN2R was a perfect replacement. Only had to change light connection ends to work.

There is a problem with this being an exact replacement for my Hunter fan. The light connectors were either built wrong on my unit or they are all wrong. The sexes of the connectors were the same but the plastic outer housing mated. I had to depin and switch the outer plastic housing so they would work. Not fun but as an electronic tech for 50 yrs. do able.

Receiver worked as advertised. The light wire connectors did not fit my ceiling fan, but that was easily overcome by cutting and splicing the wires.

Perfect just what I need to repair my fan

Works! Only gripe is that I had to make the connection to the light fixture myself. The connectors' gender did not match my lights. The web site noted this might be needed in some cases. Easy enough.

It worked perfect. The only thing I had to do was replace the light wires end caps (blue and white wires extending from the bottom) with the old ones from my Hunter fan, then it was plug and install.

Excellent replacement for original part. With exception of the lighting kit plugs which did not fit existing plugs and needed to cut off and wire nut together it was a simple install. It eork flawlessly.

The wires supplied to connect to the light could be a few inches longer to make it easier to connect the light. Mine has 3 light bulbs so getting 4 wires to connect to the 2 inch supplied connect was a struggle. Other than that minor annoyance all is good.

Not an exact fit for my Hunter fan but it still works. Also it had the wrong connectors to hook into the light so I had to crimp different ends on it. Works great and fixed my fan though.

No show stopper but quick connect plugs were reversed from what was on hunter fan. Had to cut all connectors off and use wire nuts to install. May be worthwhile to note that possibility in the installation paperwork. Product installed and worked in a Hunter brand fan. J.M. Alabama

Item worked as promised

This company really does try their hardest to make sure you have what you need. I ordered a replacement and the first one was not the correct one, so they quickly found the one that was needed and had it to me in a few days. I did have to splice the ends and swap them out with my old ones but that wasn't a problem. I am super thankful to them for helping me out so I can have my ceiling light working and not have to replace the whole thing.

The receiver works great. Easy to replace. Only issue is that it doesn't use the old factory receiver bracket (due to it's slightly larger size) and so replacing the covering can get frustrating.

The website for Replacement Remotes (Dan's Elec) didn't expressly say this replacement receiver was for Hampton Bay Redington III. This will confirm that it is. Receiver Model "FANR2" works in Redington II and Redington III. Also, the rough dimension is about 1-1/2" deep/thick, same as original (NOT 1" deep as shown in website). Diameter w/ adjustable fins is corrected. Aluminum "fins" bend out to fit inside diameter of the motor wire cluster housing. Device functioned as indicated. Due to age of my original fan, replacement receiver had slightly different connector pins (1 male pin plus 1 female pin) versus original 2 male pins. I merely salvaged one wire/connector from original (failed) receiver, and soldered it to the fan cluster module. So I didn't change or adjust any wires or pins on the new receiver. Others who aren't comfortable with soldering, could have used properly rated screw-twist-on wire nuts, and it would have worked fine. In any event, this replacement receiver was fine.

After I broke down my issue with my ceiling fans (have two side by side 10ft apart) not responding to the light dimmer on my remotes, I contacted Hampton Bay directly and they wanted to sell me these wireless receivers at $15 over what I paid from replacement remotes. I ordered these which arrived fast. Installed them in under 20 minutes and now both work as intended.

Worked perfectly but as a side note it is very important to not have a wall dimmer switch. It extremely affected the functionality of the dim option on the remote even when the dimmer was at full power.

Original remote was no longer turning the light on and off, but the fan controls worked. This replacement works with the fan and lights. It is slightly different from the original remote though. The metal brackets of mine came out farther from the plastic case. And the plastic mating on the blue line was different. The pin is male, which is correct, but the plastic shield was the "male" version whereas my old one had the "female" plastic shield. I had to take the shield off my black wire in the fan in order to make the connection.

My home office's 10 year-old Hampton Bay ceiling fan lights stopped working. I bought this replacement from www.replacementremotes.com, last week and got it the other day. The replacement is exactly the same as my original (except some electronics parts improvement inside the box) including the body and wiring colors. It took me about 10 minutes to complete the whole replacement process.
