the Sony remote is an excellent product. It is very responsive and I can normally use the remote in almost any position in the room even pointing away from the receiver / DVD player.the only downfall to this remote is that you can not open and close the DVD tray from the remote itself.I like the fact that this remote has legs on the bottom so that you can operate it on a flat surface without the remote rolling around when you go to touch it. I wish more companies would do this with their remotes.
