AXD1549 is a suited replacement for the original AXD1550. Except for color, and a dedicated button for buttons' LED backlit, I didn't notice any significant difference. But, I would still prefer AXD1550's look (silver), and how it felt in the palm. I would miss that though.
Importantly, this remote worked for my very old Pioneer TV; I wasn't sure if it would really work but thanks to Erick M.
