Fast delivery. Works just as the original did even though the part # has changed over the years. Came with no instructions so after some online searching to find the code I needed to control my Sony TV I was good to go. Controlled the Onkyo receiver right out of the packaging.

Listed as a 'guaranteed replacement' for the RC-840M, but it is not. Essential functions do NOT work. They will refund purchase price, but I have to pay for return postage. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for a RC-840M replacement.

I have an Onkyo TX-NR1010 receiver. The original remote's volume buttons quit working and is no longer available. The recommended remote has most of the functionality that I need so I am very happy with it.

Another remote replacement site showed this remote as no longer available. So when I saw in on this site as temporarily back-ordered, I had my doubts about ever receiving it. And then I got the email that it had shipped and I thought I would probably get some sort of generic substitute. So when it arrived and it was exactly the same Onkyo remote as the old, original one that came with the amplifier, I was ecstatic, since some major functionality already had failed on the old one.
