We purchased this same remote before...2 yrs ago i think. One button, the volume down button, stopped working and we had to replace. Seems it should last longer. No other options, so we had to buy it again.

This controller is AWESOME. I have a had an Onkyo TX-SR700 for 18 years and the stock controller hasn't worked very well for a very long time, Well that changed last week when I received my RR478M from Dans Electronics. I'm way up north in Alberta and shipping was pretty quick as well. Dans Electronics you kick ASS, Thank you Team.

This is a great business. I thought I would be forever stuck with the remote for my 20-something year old Onkyo surround sound system that some years ago developed stuck and non-functioning volume buttons (very important, and now very annoying). But Dan's popped up in a search, and the replacement works perfectly out of the box. It was very satisfying to finally just chuck the old one in the trash. Yeah! (And also good riddance to 20 years of grime.)

Great replacement! It has all the buttons for all the features of my Onkyo. I had gotten another remote from other than Dan's Electronics, but that remote did not have all the same buttons (I couldn't select video 1, 2 and 3, tape, tuner or CD); the Anderic has those buttons. It also feels lighter than the old and didn't take much getting used to as it is not so different than the original. It came promptly, too. I'm happy.

Great service and quick shipping from the store itself. I bought the remote to work with a Onkyo TX-DS787 Surround Sound Receiver I picked up for $14 at Thrift Store. The remote works pretty well with most of the buttons found on the original remote, which I couldn't find any longer working on this one. The quality of the plastic is mid tier. It was a little expensive considering it cost more than the receiver, but it works just fine.

Well this my second remote, My wife broke my first one, And this one works great with my system. I rate it 5 stars

A very nice replacement for my old Onkyo remote. It seems to do everything the old remote did although some of the buttons are in a different place. Easy to learn and now I'll be able to get a few more years out of my Onkyo audio system.

this works even better than original, was thinking there was know replacement for this after checking the original onkyo site to find it no longer carried this . i was told about this company and was very happy to find this replacement.

It is near exact in receiver function, button layout, was simple as a few seconds "pairing" or learning to the original factory unit..also is extremely lightweight in the hand.
