Bought this remote to replace original TV remote after the buttons wore out. Programmed with no problems and is working well. I refuse to waste my time watching endless commercials and flip chanels frequently. Still learning the layout of this new remote so I can use by feel alone but that is to be expected. The buttons have a solid feel to them which tells me that I did press it hard enough even though I am not watching them.

Received it fast and it worked.

As I feared, this is not a 100% direct replacement for the Radio Shack (Scientific Atlanta) Model #15-100. Though it has a macro to power up multiple devices, it lacks the 15-100's extensive macro abilities. It does learn from other remotes, which is huge, but I don't think it will reassign keys the way the 15-100 does. So better than nothing, I guess, for when my 15-100 finally dies.

Used as a secondary TV remote so my wife and I don't have ot pass the original back and forth. Did not program to my cable box but still satisfied.
