The item appeared to be as expected. However, I found that the remote I was trying to replace was NOT the right remote for my Sony DVD changer. After your remote didn't work either, I got suspicious and found I was trying to use the wrong "old remote" that I dug out of boxes. I had another in there too, and it actually worked after I cleaned the terminals and put new batteries in it. Now I'm stuck with the replacement remote you sent me, without anything it actually controls here at home (that I can find). I started to try to send it back, but then stopped to realize it was totally my fault for ordering the wrong one. I'm sure your remote is just fine. Wish I had a use for it.

I was a little apprehension of getting a replacement remote. I received it in a very timely manner. Used the remote with no problems. All functions work each button works with the component. There was no need to sync the remote. Very happy with this item.

Purchased the Anderic RMC 12249 Sony replacement remote as a Christmas gift. It worked perfectly out of the box. No programming needed. Now have a VHS to DVD converter that works.

I am very happy with this remote control. It had to be special ordered, but it was well worth the wait. It is a brand new remote.The format of this remote is different from the original, but that was not a problem. It works perfectly out of the package. No programming was needed. I tested the different function buttons on the remote, and they all worked great! Replacement Remotes is an excellent company to do business with. The product does just what the description said. The only problem involves the use of the record stop button. I found that I just need to turn off the recorder power using the red button and it records the data. Turning the power back on and using the open and close function the disc data opens the recorder to use the system button to enter the disc and begin to finish the record process and finalize at which time the disc can be used in any DVD reader.

For the limited usage I have had with the replacement, it has proven to be quite adequate for the operation of my antiquated DVD/VCR combo.

Just got it so it is a little early to know for sure how well it works. It appears to do everything I need. Some of the buttons are in different places than the original but once located appears to work the same.
