I don't know quite how to rate. One remote was repaired and an identical one could not be.
The one that could not be does work for some functions, but not others, so to me it is a bit mysterious. For example, pressing the arrow that goes from left to right in the list of recordings on the hard disk works, but the arrow that goes from right to left does not. ?? So what is "broken" that cannot be fixed?
I sent a message that one remote was marked on your repair list as being for a model 3565H DVDR although the identical remotes were both for the same 3575H DVDR machine. Could this "typo" have resulted in a mistake concerning whether the "3565H" remote was not repairable.
Otherwise, I am quite happy that one remote worked again and I could access the machine!
Unfortunately, last week the DVDR itself went dead. It will not turn one. In the morning there were two very brief power outages. I suspect that a surge when the power came back on might have ruined a fuse or something else in the power supply. So far Philips says there is no service manual available for customers and the nearest Philips service center they suggested seems not to exist anymore. I'm wondering if I can get inside the DVDR and try to find the fuse myself.
You took an ancient remote that was the only weak link in a great Pioneer home theatre system and repaired it to a like new condition-even cleaned it!. The cost was unbelievably cheap and you got it back to me in about a week. Awesome job. Thank you. I will recommend you going forward on any kind of work such as this.
Before remote(2 sent in for repair) buttons were "sticky" and hard to press. Received remotes back in "like new" condition with complete functionality restored. Very happy with repair. Would recommend you to anyone who is thinking of discarding/replacing an otherwise perfectly good remote because of malfunctioning buttons.
Great service. My NAD remote fell off couch onto tile floor. Replacement was not an option. Looking on Internet, I found these guys. Can'the believe the fast service, great price and more. Highly recommend.
The replacement remote seems to be similar to our old one. It turned the TV on and off and changed the setting. However it did not turn on and off the VCR. Will be working with it further to see if its a user issue rather than a product issue.
I am somewhat amazed that you exist,but I am glad that I sent in my remote to you.In an email someone wrote to me stating that my remote was in good shape and nothing was giving me a problem and stated that there was something maybe not functioning right at my cd player. But I put batteries in the remote and guess what it worked and I want to thank you for whatever the technician did but he/she made it work for me. Thank You Very Much, James Barclay
