The Hampton Bay FAN-55T wall plate wireless remote control is a replacement transmitter designed for select ceiling fans using the Fan28R receiver. It provides control of fan speeds, fan off, and light on/off with dimming, and is intended only for compatible ceiling fan receivers.

This remote has been replaced by the Anderic CHQ9051T wireless remote and will not work with other receiver types or non-ceiling-fan devices. Please confirm your existing receiver is a Fan28R before purchasing.
