• This part is awesome! I was very easy to replace- you literally remove a few screws, take off the cover, and then unplug the old receiver, plug in the new one, replace the cover and screws. That's all! Works like new. Replaced in less than ten minutes. I've already ordered another on for a second fan that is not working.

• Perfect fit - literally plug and play. The connector was the exact fit. Just turn off the power, unplug the non working module, plug in the new one and turn the power back on. And, as a bonus, the new remote has a small LED light on it to show that it is sending signal when you press any button. All three speeds of the fan work exactly as before. This is a fantastic product! It does require an odd, 12 volt battery - so make sure you order that as well. My only con would be the battery - it is an odd type, but available for sale online, but it would be better if they used more common AAA or nine volt batteries.
