The new receiver came with two female quick connectors on the ends of the leads that connect to the ceiling fans lighting wires whereas the existing connectors on the ceiling fan are one male and one female. In order to make the connection, one of the new wire connectors would have to be removed and replaced with the proper connector. I called Dan's to ask about this and they said if I cut any of the wires I would void the warranty. So I had to take the female connector off the old receiver and modify it to fit the new receiver to make it work. They also sent me the wrong remote which did not have a switch on it to change the fan direction. I called them about this and they said they would send out the correct remote no charge. Other than this the product works as advertised and I like the fact that the new remote uses a 9v battery instead of the old N23. Paul

Great product! Saved my Hunter Grand Lodge ceiling fan from the landfill. My Hunter ceiling fan started making a loud buzzing sound coming from the light area one night. After removing the light fixture I found the remote receiver part number which was obsolete. I did a quick Google search which directed me to Dan's Electronics with the compatible remote receiver kit with remote. The part arrived in just a few days and installation took about 15 minutes. I had to use a dremel to cut the 4 plastic tabs back in order to fit inside the light assembly. I also had to cut and splice the connector on the white wire for the light and reuse the connector from the old receiver so it would match up to the new receiver, not a big deal. The fan works great and responds better than before. The $60 part saved me hundreds of dollars not to mention my time. Would definitely recommend for your Hunter fan if/when the old remote receiver fails.

The Anderic replacement kit worked perfectly in my ceiling fan. I had a ceiling fan that the fan stopped working, light worked and fan worded in reverse only.I found this website and thought let's give it a try instead of replacing the fan and the drop down pole on a 14 foot ceiling. The quality was great, functionality was perfect, the only thing I was surprised by was the size of the remote, it's a little big, but functions perfectly and that's all that matters. Worked as described. I used mine as a replacement for a Hunter Fan. A little customization required but not a big deal for a reasonably handy person.

A tight fit in the original housing, but it did go in. One wire connector for the light kit was wrong, but easily spliced to make the light work. Overall, a good fix for a malfunctioning fan and certainly cheaper than replacing the entire fan.

Purchased as a replacement for Hunter 85112-02 receiver. Had to modify the white neutral connector for the light fixture(internal connector fit but the external plastic coupling was wrong gender) but everything else plugged in and it works great. I recommend this as a replacement for the Hunter 85112-02.

It works great for my Hunter fan. No get the fan installed in my 18" ceiling.

Product was a little tight fitting into the housing but it worked perfectly and saved me from renting scaffolding to replace a Hunter fan connected to a 17 ft. ceiling!

This remote was not listed as being compatible with my ceiling fan (a Hunter 23457 with original receiver 85112-02) but after emailing support I was encouraged to give it a shot. It was a tight fit in the fan housing but a perfect replacement. Extremely happy with the product and the support both before ordering and after when I wasn't sure it would fit.

My ceiling fan was an old Harbor Breeze. This part was same part # receiver as what originally failed. However, it was necessary to remove circuit board from new supplied housing and incorporate into old original plastic housing plus alter one wire to match original wiring. Also had to cut off metal brace and rebend radius to fit back into fan. It works great! But, was not plug & play like had hoped. Thank you though for what ended as a success!

The replacement kit has a connector that fit perfectly with the fan wiring. The price is worth it because it is a great ceiling fan.

I was a little concerned about buying this item because it was made in China (original receiver was made in Taiwan) however, it installed easily and it works just fine. We had to make a slight alteration with the male connector (blue connector) but it was a minor alteration to make it work.

I had help with installing the ceiling fan kit by my neighbor who is an electrician. The new kit came fixed with two female ends and the old unit had a male and female end. It was an easy fix with a splice. The quality, functionality and ease of use All was expected and met.

My hunter fan receiver (from 2001) failed and I just plugged this one in and it worked! The big question was would the main pin connector match up with the old connector, yes it did. The only mod I had to make was on the lamp wire I had to cut one of the connectors off and put a twist connector on, a 10 minute job. The old incandescent bulbs were replaced with Led bulbs so perhaps the heat will not fry this receiver.

Item was exactly as described. Awesome remote with light on/off, 3 speed fan control on/off, and fan reverse. This is an excellent replacement for anyone with a Hunter Model 23529 60 inch Grand Lodge Ceiling fan. Hunter does not support this fan anymore. You cannot buy the receiver and/or remote from them. I have found only the remotes available on EBAY for 99.00 or more. This Anderic Remote and Receiver less than 60 dollars is a perfect fit. Blue wire on the Anderic receiver to the black wire on your Hunter fan light, white wire on your Anderic receiver to the white wire on your Hunter fan light. The toggle switches on the Anderic Remote and Anderic Receiver and preset at the factory to match when you receive them, however the instructions tells you to switch them from the factory settings to something different. As long as they match, everything works beautifully.

Bought as a replacement for our 68 inch Altura ceiling fan, in turn the 1st replacement controller came from Hampton bay died. Talk about being angry. Then we purchased this one, it's being working ever since. Going on 2-3 weeks, the only bad thing I can say is this controller is a little thicker then the original. With some slight modifications I finally got it to fit in our light fixture... Everything works as it should...

The item order work well. Only problem was that of the two wires for the light one of the connectors was the wrong one. The pin was correct but the connector was wrong. The connectors should have been one female and one male, to able to connect them to the wires for the light. The unit you send me had female connectors for both wires that connected to the light, this would have not worked since the light assembly wires had one male connector and the other a female connect. Since I am an aviation electrician I was able to removed the connector require from the old unit to fix the problem and installed this unit on the ceiling fan.

Just wanted to say that the unit was and exact fit for a 20 year old ceiling fan that we really like and couldn't find a suitable replacement. One bonus is that the former controller would not keep the light settings when you turned the wall switch off - we had to use the remote to turn the light on and off, otherwise when you tried to turn the light back on from the wall, the lights/fan wouldn't respond except from the controller. With the new controller, if you turn the wall switch off, the settings are kept when you turn the wall switch back on.

Installed fairly easy. Worked the first time I used it. I put in diming lights and it works perfect.

I used this combo to replace the receiver in my Minka Aire ceiling fan and it worked perfectly, just make sure the 9 pin plug on the receiver will mate with your fan plug.

I was kind of worried buying a replacement remote control receiver and controller from a company all the way across the country. I couldn't have been more wrong. The receiver was an exact drop in replacement for the OEM unit that was in the fan. The controller, while branded for Replacement Remotes was an exact copy of the original. Works great! The blue wire for the lamp kit had the wrong connector (female instead of male) so I had to splice blue wire from old unit and all is good.
