The DC1 remote is designed to work with ceiling fans that have a DC motor and a DC8 receiver. It provides full fan and light control through a simple, easy-to-use layout.

Pairing the DC1 Remote Universal Mode and Learning Mode

There is a "Universal Mode" and a "Learning Mode" with the remote control.

1. UNIVERSAL MODE: When selecting "Universal Mode," place the dip (code) switch at the UPPER position labeled "COMMON CODE." Your fan remote control is ready to use.

Note: If using universal mode, your fan can be controlled with other remote transmitters in the same setting.

1. LEARNING MODE: To control the fan with a specific remote transmitter, select "Learning Mode" by placing the dip (code) switch in the lower position (L. CODE), then,
2. Cycle the power to the fan via the circuit breaker. After restoring the power source to your fan, press and hold the "LEARN" button for at least 3 seconds. You must press the "LEARN" button within 60 seconds of restoring power to the fan.

Note: Power must be off for at least 10 seconds, then turned back on for the remote control learn function to take effect.

Note: If the fan is installed with a light, the light will blink twice. The remote control setting process is complete, and your fan is ready. For fans without light, check the operation using a remote transmitter.

Note: To control multiple fans, ensure the dip switches are set at the same setting. A maximum of two transmitters can control a fan.

• Easy to Program: Simply press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds to activate the "LEARN" status. The receiver will remember the last code used, indicated by the LED light flashing twice.

• User-Friendly Design: The DC1 Transmitter features 9 buttons for seamless control. The 1-6 keys are dedicated to fan speed control, providing you with precise adjustments. The REV key allows you to easily reverse the fan direction, while the OFF key ensures quick fan speed shutdown. The LIGHT key offers dimming control for the LED light and allows you to turn it off when needed.

• Optional Wall Mounting: For added convenience, the DC1 Transmitter comes with an optional wall mounting feature. The included Transmitter Holder enables you to securely mount the remote on the wall, ensuring easy access and preventing misplacement.

• Long-lasting Performance: The DC1 Transmitter operates on two 1.5-volt batteries, delivering reliable performance. With its power-saving design, the batteries last longer, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted control over your ceiling fan.
