The Anderic RR230M remote control replaces the original equipment Onkyo Audio/Video Receiver remotes. The RR230M will work right out of the package for compatible Onkyo Audio/Video Receiver models listed (but not limited to) without any programming. The RR230M is a pre-programmed Onkyo Audio/Video Receiver remote and cannot be programmed to other devices. The remote includes popular features like MENU, INPUT, and all other buttons for normal operations. For detailed information on how to use this product with your Onkyo Audio/Video Receiver, please refer to your Audio/Video Receiver's operating manual.

The remote works fine. I would have liked to have the original ONKYO remote made for the ONKYO A-RV400 Stereo Amplifier, but, as I stated, this one works.
Sometimes when you order electronics online they're not what they say. This replacement remote is exactly what we needed. It looks a little bit different than our "old" one, but works great.

This replacement works well with good functionality. Really is the ideal replacement for the Onkyo remote.
It worked right out of the box on my TX-8211. There's a lot on the remote that doesn't do anything though, which just made it way bigger than it needed to be.
My Onkyo remote has gotten oxidized, so the volume button is only partially working. So I got this "close" replacement. I only wish it were cross manufacturer compatible so I could control my Sony tape decks and CD players. A programmable version would be great.

The unit works fine, but is far more complicated than the original for my simple STEREO Onkyo TX8210 Receiver -amp. Apparently it is designed to run everything Onkyo ever made. Also it would be nice if the unit were labeled with the Onkyo name, rather than "ANDERIC", which is useless in identifying what this remote controls when there are several remote controls in a system. The unit did solve my problem, was priced appropriately and it is working well. Thank you.
I was expecting the replacement remote to have many less features and that operate the volume continuously as my original remote did. I bought a different remote elsewhere a couple years ago and it was not what I needed. The Anderic remote control is spectacular!

Works great! It activates the sleep function just like the original Onkyo RC-118S remote did, which is the main thing I wanted. Everything else I've tried works too, volume control etc. All work fine. I'm really glad I found this remote, and the price was also reasonable. Quality seems great too.
Simply putting it, it works for my application. It controls the volume and input selection for my Onkyo stereo P301 preamp, which is what I wanted. In that way, it takes the place of the unavailable RC-200s remote that came with the P301. It also has a bunch of other buttons that are not applicable for my simple use, it looks like it was really designed for an early 5.1 receiver, and can probably control Onkyo tape decks, FM tuner presets and CD pllayers made in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
I've never filled out a rate form i think its a waste of time.....however in very impressed with this item.......it literally worked directly from the pack......insert the batteries and on it went..... Great bye....

My Onkyo remote broke years ago. This one is very reminiscent of it. It works perfectly right out of the box, no programming required. I purchased two of them. Just in case one stops working prematurely or if they possibly stop manufacturing them. I would purchase again.

Everything OK, the remote shipped directly to home in France. Hope it will last because it's a little bit light (weight). Input names (mostly) different between device and remote, but it works, a new habit of use to take.
Fast service. Remote functions well. the only thing is the buttons labeled video 1, 2 and 3 do not function the same as on my receiver. Video 2 on the remote turns on video 1 on the receiver. Guess I'll learn to live with it.

Don't know if my comments went through go again. Works great, but didn't give it 4 stars for two reasons: The "CD Direct" button is missing. Not a big deal, when starting to listen to CD I'm at the amp anyway. Would be nice if an unused button such as "multi-ch in" would serve that function. The black on purple writing of the "input selection" section is hard to read in low ambient light. No big deal, will soon memorized the function of those keys. Overall, nice unit.

Sorry I took so long to respond but I finally got the batteries and then I finally had time to respond. What I can say is that it definitely turns my old stereo on and off and it is able to turn the volume up and down but I have not taken time to see if I can use the same instructions for the remote that came with my unit for the Anderic yet but eventually I will. I am pleased with this remote and If I buy anything else from you I hope you will allow me to use the 5% discount since I was not able to use it for the purchase of the Anderic remote. The remote is easy to use you just push the power button and it comes on the stereo and push the volume button up or down to increase or decrease the sound. I'm very happy I bought it. Thank you!
The remote works fine and all the functions also work. It is easy to use and the buttons operate easily. One suggestion I would make is that part of the remote has purple background with black text making it a bit difficult to read. I would suggest a lighter colored background on this part of the remote. Other than this minor issue I am very happy with this product.
The remote controls the basic functions that allow use of the Onkyo receiver. The background colors of the control buttons make it difficult to read the function.

I love this remote which works with my 25+ year old Onkyo TX-SV70PRO. Prior to getting this one, I had used eBay to get used original remotes, which broke soon after. This remote is working well and was very affordable. I highly recommend.
I ordered this remote for my Onkyo SV343 receiver. I tried to find an original used one which was not available except for $50.00. This remote at less than Half that. Works great right out of the box, no programming . Great find for older receivers.
The item works fine for controlling our Onkyo receiver. It actually has more features than our original model. Unfortunately, I do not know how to use those features to control our DVD player.

So I can't say whether the remote does everything it is supposed to and does it well. If someone needs a remote for an older receiver that won't connect to a generic remote, then this is the place to search.

Built quality not as good as original remote control and lighter. Only time will tell its durabilty and reliability.Would recommend only if you can't find other better replacement for a lower total cost.But if you only care for something that works,it works.Price with shipping added in total ,in my opinion,is higher than I think is fair for the quality of the replacement remote control.But it works.
