NOT GOOD

I tried this remote on Hitachi tv model 50UX58K......and it was working for about one month. Then we started having problems changing batteries in order to keep it working. Now it doesn't work at all. I shall try to have the old one repaired instead. The TV is fine, but the remote is really no good......with this model.
