You must make sure your remote is in the “RCVR” (RECEIVER/TAPE/AMP)
mode before use.
This remote cannot be programmed for use with any other brands of devices. If
you select any other “Remote Mode” such as “DVD, CD, TV, VCR, SAT” the
remote will not work properly with your receiver. For example, if you press “DVD”
mode button (top right corner of remote) the remote will be sending the codes for
the DVD and will stop working for your receiver. Please make sure you press
“RCVR” mode button before use. These instructions is the same with the original RC682M.
When selecting the “Remote Mode,” this remote’s pre-assigned codes are listed
below:
• RCVR (RECEIVER/TAPE/AMP) – ONKYO
• DVD – ONKYO
• CD/MD/CDR – ONKYO
• TV – SANYO
• VCR – PANASONIC
• CABLE/SAT – OTHER
NOTE: If your brand is not listed then this remote will not work for those units.
You must buy the original RC682M if you want programming capabilities.
NOTE: There is no indicator of the mode you are in. You just need to either
remember what mode you put the remote in last or just click on the mode you
need before use.
